When you contact Touch Haiti, volunteer, partner with us, request information, or otherwise submit information through the website, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, message, areas of interest, and other details related to your request.
Donations and third-party services
Touch Haiti may use or link to an external donation service to process contributions. Payment-card or financial information entered directly into a third-party donation service is handled by that provider under its own privacy practices and is not collected by this website unless we clearly state otherwise. We may receive donation-related information from the provider, such as donor contact information, donation amount, transaction status, and information needed for acknowledgments and recordkeeping.
Website analytics and your choice
Touch Haiti is preparing to use Google Analytics or related Google measurement tools to understand how visitors use the website and improve the experience. Our consent framework uses Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics is enabled by default so we can measure website use and improve the site. You may decline optional analytics storage at any time. If you decline, Google Consent Mode can still permit limited, non-cookie measurement signals once our Google tag is activated. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad-personalization remain denied in our current setup.
When analytics is enabled, measurement may include pages viewed, interactions, traffic sources, device and browser information, and approximate geographic information. You can accept analytics or decline optional analytics storage, and your preference is stored in your browser. You can reopen the choice at any time by selecting Cookie Choices in the footer.

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, coordinate volunteer or partnership interest, communicate about Touch Haiti activities, administer donations and acknowledgments when applicable, operate and protect the website, understand site usage when analytics is accepted, and maintain appropriate nonprofit and legal records.

Google provides Google Analytics and related measurement technology when enabled. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect Touch Haiti, the website, donors, volunteers, partners, or others.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and for legitimate nonprofit, accounting, tax, legal, or recordkeeping needs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information directly from children under 13. Images or stories involving children may appear in connection with Touch Haiti’s mission, but visitors should not use website forms to submit a child’s sensitive personal information.
